Genesis World Mission has always been about inspiring communities of people who want to help their neighbors get healthier. To that end, we depend almost solely on volunteers to get the work down. Last year over $340,000 of donated skilled time was given including medical professionals, administrative volunteers, students, and everyday citizens.

Our greatest volunteer need is for medical professionals, specifically physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists, dentists, and hygienists. But there's a whole host of people who provide a support network for medical care to happen: dental assistants, RNs, counselors, social workers, and mental health professionals. Behind them is a bunch of people who know how to move paper, technology, and money around. Sometimes, there are even opportunities to be part of a medical team travelling to Kenya.

Open Volunteer Positions:

Wednesday RN (2 positions open):

Looking for a Licenced RN who is willing to coming in every other Wednesday for our morning clinic. Hours are 8:45 AM - 1PM

 

Evening RN:

Lincenced RN available to come in during the evening for our Tuesday & Thursday clinics from 4:45 - 7 PM. At least one day/month.

 

Med Room Technician (3 positions open):

The ideal candidate for this position is a pre-pharmacy, pharmacy students enrolled in college, as well as a licenced pharmacy technician. Pays close attention to detail, and a quick learner.

 

Front Desk & Triage:

We are looking for a friendly person with excellent phone etiquette to greet our patients, schedule appointments, and file charts. 

 

Data Entry & Anylization

Are you a wiz at EXCEL? We are looking for a few people to do data entry and/or to analyze the data.

School Aged Volunteers, Groups & Organizations:

All volunteers must be at least 18 years old to volunteer here at the clinic. However, there are still ways school aged people and large groups can volunteer. For more information, click here
